Father's Day Card Class: Sail Away and Loads of Love

SAIL AWAY....love this stamp and even better it is only $9.95 in the Summer mini Catalog!! Colors: Real Red, Crumb Cake, Night of Navy; Twine and Red stripe ribbon; modern label, window, and large oval #42. I tried a new technique on this card: embossed Night of Navy with square lattice folder and punched the oval to put behind the modern label punch--such a nice change to these punches.

The second card we made this week using Loads of Love--true classic--I have used this set so many times through the years and yet, I love it more each time!! Colors: Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, and Elegant Soiree designer paper. Embossed with square lattice folder; truck wheels/hub caps are silver brads and crystal effects on the window and Early Espresso grosgrain ribbon. The ladies loved the window idea!!

We will be making 2 cards featuring stamp sets *Sail Away* and *Loads of Love* for Father's Day or a Birthday for that special man in your life!! Each card is beautifully embellished with ribbon, multi-layers of cardstock and a variety of designer paper. Come join the fun and fellowship!!

Scrapbooking Class: May 28th 1-3 PM

In this class we will make a 12x12 set (2 pages) layout featuring the stamp set *Lovely as a Tree*. This will make a great layout for Father's Day, Masculine theme, or a trip to the great outdoors!! It will be embellished with designer paper *Elegant Soiree*, ribbon and much much more!!

Because I Care Mother's Day Card

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

This Sunday is a very special day celebrating mom's--so to all my stamping friends: Happy Mother's Day!

This card was made at April's monthly card class featuring the stamp set "Because I Care" hostess set. The colors are rich razzleberry, pretty n pink, whisper white. The Hydrangea is stamped on the card first with rich razzleberry and certainly celery on the stem. On a separate piece of whisper white, stamp the flower part of the Hydrangea in razzleberry again. Then using the Boho Blossoms punch--smallest flower--punch out 6-8 petals. Using dimensionals apply these to the first stamped Hydrangea. Apply 2-way glue and dazzling diamonds glitter and see the beautiful sparkle!! Thanks to all the ladies who came to share this card with me!!
